Phase I - Understanding

 - Project Plan
Before beginning design/development we will talk with you to ensure we fully understand your business strategy and website goals. We will also review any other material you think may be useful to us. This will help us to present information in a clear and succinct manner on your site. 

We use an internal Project Plan to ensure the project stays on track and is delivered on time. We like to know what you like and what you do not like when it comes to your project.  This information will be incorporated into the Project Plan.

Knowing your likes and dislikes will help to ensure we understand your vision.

Phase II - Site Design

 - Illustration
Based on our understanding and fact gathering in Phase I, we will prepare a home page design for you to review. We will structure your home page to create a clean, visually appealing layout with intuitive site navigation and links to key sections of your site. We include high-quality graphics and sometimes photos to enhance the look for your site visitors. Your home page may also include a quick search feature so visitors can quickly find specific products or services.

We will post the prototype page layout on our staging server for you to review. You will have an opportunity to suggest up to three rounds of revisions to ensure your complete satisfaction. For visual images we can use images that you provide or you may suggest ideas from our online stock photography library iStock.com.
We will incorporate your suggestions into a final page layout and ask you to sign off on this design via email.
At the end of this phase you will see how your home page and site navigation will appear.

 - Consistency
We will prepare your new site ensuring a consistent look and feel throughout. Within your site we will incorporate elegant, professional page layouts to reinforce your brand and provide visitors with a very favorable impression of your company, your products and your services.

We will also ensure that your site is easy to use for both your customers and your staff.

 - Site Usability
We will design your site for maximum ease of use. In designing your site navigation we will assume users are not proficient with web technologies. We will implement intuitive navigation that allows site visitors to access most, if not all, pages with just one or two mouse clicks.

We will convey a strong and reassuring message of quality and authority throughout. All pages will be designed so they load quickly.  This phase will be completed within two weeks.

Phase III - Content Management System

We will incorporate our full WebVision Content Management System (CMS) into your site so that you may add/edit/delete pages and content at any time.

Ready for Content
We will set up your content management system and include content if you make it available to us. We will upload pages to our staging server as they become available. In this phase we may also integrate the search capabilities.

You will have an opportunity to review and suggest changes.

Final Review
At the end of this phase your site will be complete. All page content will be available for final review on our staging server and we will ask for any final changes. Once we complete your suggested changes we will ask you to sign-off on your site.

This phase will be completed by the end of project development.

Phase IV - Additional Features

We will set up any optional services you may have purchased, such as Email Marketing, advanced Search Engine Optimization, or Social Media integration, etc - following the completed development of your site.

 Phase V - Deployment

Upon sign off on Phase III (or Phase IV), we will upload your site, to a live web server. Once you are ready to go live, we will also set up all your e-mail accounts. Be sure to send us a list of desired addresses. Once your site is live we will initially submit your site to Google, Yahoo! and MSN/Bing to enable your entire site to be indexed by their respective search spiders.
We do not guarantee inclusion, as this service only simply tells the search engines that your site is ready for indexing.

Phase VI - Training

If you have opted for it, we’ll provide hands-on training so that you, and/or your team, will be completely comfortable maintaining your site using the Content Management System.

Phase VII - Advanced Search Engine Optimization (Optional)

When your site goes "live" we will run a baseline report to determine what enhancements/changes need to be made to your site to index into the search engines. We will make any necessary fine tuning adjustments based on the report details.

We will provide you with an SEO report. We will perform advanced optimization, coding, etc as well as submitting your site to over 300 search engines and directories that have been approved and are acceptable by the search engines (e.g. no 'black hat' tricks). 

We will also provide you with advanced tips and information that will ensure your continue your search engine success.
